My pal in comics Joe Burns, who started the Amazing Grace Comic Con – Long Beach, sadly passed away before the con could happen. His wife, Beni, and friends like Rachel Beck, all came together to make sure the con still happened in his honor. It was a wonderful and heartwarming time.
I think Joe was looking down on us happily, proud of what he’d started.
